God was King over Israel from the Exodus till the fall of Israel in 587 B.C.. Jesus will Rule over Israel, and the world, when He Comes into His Power and Glory, as King, in the future era of the Apocalypse.

NAB3 PSA 114:1

When Israel came forth from Egypt, the house of Jacob from an alien people, Judah became God's holy place, Israel, God's domain.

NAB3 DEU 33:1

This is the blessing which Moses, the man of God, pronounced upon the Israelites before he died. He said: "The LORD came from Sinai and dawned on his people from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran and advanced from Meribath-kadesh, While at his right hand a fire blazed forth and his wrath devastated the nations. But all his holy ones were in his hand; they followed at his feet and he bore them up on his pinions. A law he gave to us; he made the community of Jacob his domain, and he became king of his darling.

NAB ACT 1:6

When they had gathered together they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority. But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.
Because of Abraham's love for God through faithful obedience to God, God promised Abraham and Sarah that their descendants would rule the world. To guard your enemies gates means to have power over them.

NAB3 GEN 22:15

A second time the angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven and said: “I swear by my very self—oracle of the LORD—that because you acted as you did in not withholding from me your son, your only one, I will bless you and make your descendants as countless as the stars of the sky and the sands of the seashore; your descendants will take possession of the gates of their enemies, and in your descendants all the nations of the earth will find blessing, because you obeyed my command.

NAB3 GEN 17:15

God further said to Abraham: As for Sarai your wife, do not call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. I will bless her, and I will give you a son by her. Her also will I bless; she will give rise to nations, and rulers of peoples will issue from her.

NAB2 GEN 27:27

Finally his father Isaac said to him, “Come closer, son, and kiss me.” As Jacob went up and kissed him, Isaac smelled the fragrance of his clothes. With that, he blessed him, saying, “Ah, the fragrance of my son is like the fragrance of a field that the LORD has blessed! “May God give to you And of the fertility of the earth abundance of grain and wine. “Let peoples serve you, and nations pay you homage; Be master of your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be those who curse you, and blessed be those who bless you.”

God was going to build a great nation out of the blood descendants of Abraham. God's plan was to draw a rebellious world back to Himself through the descendants of Israel. God's plan blew up in His face due to the great multitude of sins that the descendants of Abraham began to commit. In God's anger, He ripped Israel out of the Promised Land and set secular power over them. God had king Nebuchadnezzar conquer Israel and carry them off into captivity in Babylon. King Nebuchadnezzar was just as ruthless as Adolph Hitler.

NAB 2KI 24:18

The LORD’S anger befell Jerusalem and Judah till he cast them out from his presence.

NAB JER 27:4

Tell your masters: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: It was I who made the earth, and man and beast on the face of the earth, by my great power, with my outstretched arm; and I can give them to whomever I think fit. Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, my servant; even the beasts of the field I have given him for his use.

Satan is symbolic for man's evil human pride on earth. God setting man's evil pride in secular power, aka 'the Gentiles', over Israel and the world is God, because of the great multitude of our sins, putting Satan in power over us. Having men like Adolph Hitler, Stalin and Nebuchadnezzer in power over us is Satan ruling the world. Jesus has yet to take over as King and Ruler of the world, so yes, it is Satan, not God, presently ruling over us on earth.

The 'dragon' in REV 13 is Satan. The beast, in REV 13, is world dominant secular power. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, and his world dominant secular power successors, granted authority by God to conquer and rule over Israel and the world, is the first beast of Revelation. Man's evil human pride, which is Satan, in world dominant secular power, which is the beast, jumping from one world power nation to another over time, is the Satan/Babylon who falls from power at our future Battle of Armageddon. Satan rules the world from 587 B.C. till Jesus and His angels defeat Satan at Armageddon to usher in Messianic Reign. The bible symbolically refers to the period of time between 587 B.C. and Messianic Reign, during which, Satan/Babylon/the dragon/the Gentiles/man's-evil-pride, rules the world, as 42 months (1260 days).

When reading Revelation 13, remember that the dragon is man's evil human pride and that the beast is world dominant secular power. Because of mankind's great multitude of sins, God handed Israel and the world over to Satan, aka man's evil human pride. God was going to Rule the world in peace and justice. However, because of man's rebellion to God through massive sins, Satan presently rules the world.

NAB3 REV 13:1 The First Beast

Then I saw a beast come out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads; on its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads blasphemous name[s]. The beast I saw was like a leopard, but it had feet like a bear’s, and its mouth was like the mouth of a lion. To it the dragon gave its own power and throne, along with great authority. I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but this mortal wound was healed. Fascinated, the whole world followed after the beast. They worshiped the dragon because it gave its authority to the beast; they also worshiped the beast and said, “Who can compare with the beast or who can fight against it?”

The beast was given a mouth uttering proud boasts and blasphemies, and was given authority to act for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling and those who dwell in heaven. It was also allowed to wage war against the holy ones and conquer them, and it was granted authority over every tribe, people, tongue, and nation. All the inhabitants of the earth will worship it, all whose names were not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life, which belongs to the Lamb who was slain.

In REV 12, the woman represents Israel. Israel gives birth to Jesus. The dragon is man's evil pride in world dominant secular power, which is Satan, who stands ready to kill Jesus (MAT 2:12-13 'Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.'). The twelve hundred and sixty days (42 months), which the woman spends in the desert, is the time between the fall of Israel One, in 587 B.C., and the rise of Zion, which is Israel Two, under Messianic Reign, which happens in our future Apocalypse. The time the Gentiles/Satan, who are Babylon and her successors, are given authority by God to rule the world, is represented in the bible as 42 months. Though Israel is constantly scattered from one world dominant power nation to the next, during the 42 month period, symbolically, Israel, the woman, along with the rest of the world, is still in captivity in Babylon. It is Jesus who sets Israel, and the world, free, at the Battle of Armageddon, where He takes over as King and Ruler over Israel and the world. Ezekiel 17 tells us that God's Church is humble and low lying, yet to be faithful to God, during the symbolic 42 months in symbolic Babylon, under Satan/Gentile rule.

NAB3 REV 12:1

. A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth. Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems. Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth.

NAB3 MAT 2:12

Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.”
REV 12 continued: She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod
. Her child was caught up to God and his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days...

NAB3 EZE 17:1

The word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, propose a riddle, and tell this proverb to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord GOD: The great eagle, with wide wingspan and long feathers, with thick plumage, many-hued, came to Lebanon. He plucked the crest of the cedar,a broke off its topmost branch, And brought it to a land of merchants, set it in a city of traders. Then he took some native seed and planted it in fertile soil; A shoot beside plentiful waters, like a willow he planted it, That it might sprout and become a vine, dense and low-lying, With its branches turned toward him, its roots beneath it. Thus it became a vine, produced branches, and put forth shoots...

...The word of the LORD came to me: Now say to the rebellious house: Do you not understand this? Tell them! The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and took away its king and officials and brought them to him in Babylon. After removing the nobles from the land, he then took one of the royal line And made a covenant with him, binding him under oath, To be a humble kingdom, without high aspirations, to keep his covenant and so survive

The two witnesses that stand before the Lord during the 42 month period, are the Jewish and Catholic Churches. The Church, meaning the people of the Church, are trampled on for the 42 months of Satan/Gentile reign. Under future Messianic Reign, Christ's Church, which will transform into Israel's Holy City of Zion, aka 'Thy Kingdom Come", will be protected and flourish. The '24 Elders' of REV 11:16, 'enthroned' when Jesus is enthroned, depicts the assimilation of Jewish authority (12 Tribes) into Catholic, Christ given, authority (12 Apostles), when Jesus' Reign is established on earth. Jesus, the Messiah of the Jews, has made it clear that the Jewish Church will have no power or authority under His Reign. The 'two witnesses', 'called up to heaven' REV 11:12, as Satan is 'cast down from heaven' REV 12:9, indicates the transfer of power on earth from Satan to Jesus and His Church. The 24 elders will all be Catholic elders. In Christ's 'Kingdom Come' of the restored Holy City of Zion, Jesus will Rule with and through His Church, the Catholic Church.

NAB3 REV 11 The Two Witnesses

Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff and I was told, “Come and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count those who are worshiping in it. But exclude the outer court of the temple; do not measure it, for it has been handed over to the Gentiles, who will trample the holy city for forty-two months. I will commission my two witnesses to prophesy for those twelve hundred and sixty days, wearing sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone wanting to harm them is sure to be slain. They have the power to close up the sky so that no rain can fall during the time of their prophesying. They also have power to turn water into blood and to afflict the earth with any plague as often as they wish. When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will wage war against them and conquer them and kill them...

...But after the three and a half days, a breath of life from God entered them. When they stood on their feet, great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven say to them, “Come up here.” So they went up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies looked on...

...Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world now belongs to our Lord and to his Anointed, and he will reign forever and ever.” The twenty-four elders who sat on their thrones before God prostrated themselves and worshiped God and said: “We give thanks to you, Lord God almighty, who are and who were. For you have assumed your great power and have established your reign...

NAB3 OBA 1:17 Judah Shall Be Restored.

But on Mount Zion there shall be a portion saved; the mountain shall be holy, And the house of Jacob shall take possession of those that dispossessed them...

...And deliverers shall ascend Mount Zion to rule the mount of Esau, and the kingship shall be the LORD'S.

Christ's 'deliver us from the evil one', in 'The Lord's Prayer', means deliver us from man's evil pride in world dominant secular power. We will be delivered from the evil one, when Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world upon victory at the Battle of Armageddon. How, Jesus delivering us from the evil one, upon 'Thy Kingdom Come', will effect our reciting of the Lord's Prayer, will be interesting to see. According to the Blessed Mother of Fatima, in the third secret of Fatima, Messianic Reign is coming soon. So the 42 months, which is the period of time that the Gentiles/Babylon/Satan rule the world, would then represent about 2600 years. Hallelujah! Deliver us from the 'evil one', oh Lord. as we have relentlessly prayed for, as You taught us to. Satan/Babylon/Gentiles, aka the dragon, falls from power at the Battle of Armageddon, when Jesus takes over as King, Ruler and Morning Star, of the world. Forever!

NAB3 LUK 21:24

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be taken as captives to all the Gentiles; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled

NAB2 ACT 26:17

I shall deliver you from this people and from the Gentiles to whom I send you, to open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may obtain forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been consecrated by faith in me.’

NAB 3 12:6

Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. Although the dragon and his angels fought back, they were overpowered and lost their place in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent known as the devil or Satan, the seducer of the whole world, was driven out; he was hurled down to earth and his minions with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have salvation and power come, the reign of our God and the authority of his Anointed One.

NAB MAT 6:9 The Lord's Prayer

"This is how you are to pray: 'Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven ...//...
Subject us not to trial but deliver us from the evil one.'
When the Jewish Messiah comes to Rule the world, He will Rule with and through His Church, the Catholic Church. The Jewish hierarchy will have any and all power from God taken away from them and all Power from God will be given to Christ's Apostles and their Successors. Under Messianic Reign, where Jesus Rules the world, all Jewish and secular power, given from God, will cease to exist. Jesus will Rule with and through His Church, the Catholic Church. This chapter lays out the flow of God's power on earth, given to first Israel, then the gentiles, which means secular power, and ending up in the Hands of Christ, who will Rule the world with and through His Church, the Catholic Church.

NAB REV 22:16

"It is I, Jesus, who have sent my angel to give you this testimony about the churches. I am the Root and Offspring of David, the Morning Star shining bright."

NAB2 REV 2:26

To the victor, who keeps to my ways until the end, I will give authority over the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. Like clay vessels will they be smashed, just as I received authority from my Father. And to him I will give the morning star.

NAB LUK 22:25

He said to them, I confer a kingdom on you, just as my Father has conferred one on me, that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

NAB2 DAN 4:14

By decree of the sentinels is this decided, by order of the holy ones, this sentence; That all who live may know that the Most High rules over the kingdom of men: He can give it to whom he will, or set over it the lowliest of men.’
It is God, not man, who decides who will have Power on earth. God has given Power to Israel's leaders, who become the False Prophet of Revelations. God also gave power to the Harlot of Babylon, who are Sarah's descendants who have risen to world dominant power in Gentile nations. God also gave power to man's evil human pride, which is Satan, to rule over the peoples of the earth. At The Battle of Armageddon, God takes away His Authority to rule the world from the False Prophet, and the Harlot of Babylon, and Satan, and gives all His Power to Rule the world to His, Morning Star, Jesus, as God has promised. Jesus will Rule with and through His Church, the Catholic Church.

The rest of this page takes a look at the transfer of God's Power and Authority from the Jewish Church to Christ's Apostles, who are the Catholic Church.

In Ezekiel ten we see God removing His Presence from Israel. Then we have the period between 587 BC and our future Battle at Armageddon where God 'hides His face'. This is the time when Satan rules the world through secular power. At Armageddon, when Jesus takes over as Ruler of the world, we see God's presence come back down to earth through Jesus. Israel is re-established at this time. Only now it is Christ's Priests, not Jewish or secular power, who will administer judgement and justice in the world. It is Christ's Apostolic Successors who will sit in Christ's authority over the New Jerusalem, which is Zion. It is Jesus who will rule the world, not secular power, through His Church, the Catholic Church, through judgments, in the post-Armageddon era of Messianic Reign. Follow the trail of God's presence and God's power and God's judgments on earth.

NAB 2KI 24:18

The LORD’S anger befell Jerusalem and Judah till he cast them out from his presence.

NAB2 EZE 10:1 God's Glory leaves Jerusalem

I saw there the glory of the God of Israel, like the vision I had seen in the plain. The cherubim were stationed to the right of the temple; these were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the river Chebar, whom I now recognized to be cherubim.//...

...//I looked and saw in the firmament above the cherubim what appeared to be sapphire stone; something like a throne could be seen upon it. He said to the man dressed in linen: Go within the wheelwork under the cherubim; fill both your hands with burning coals from among the cherubim, then scatter them over the city.

NAB REV 8:1

When he broke open the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw that the seven angels who stood before God were given seven trumpets. Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a gold censer. He was given a great quantity of incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the holy ones, on the gold altar that was before the throne. The smoke of the incense along with the prayers of the holy ones went up before God from the hand of the angel. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with burning coals from the altar, and hurled it down to the earth. There were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
EZE 10 Continued:
As I looked on, he entered. The glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherubim, upon which it had been, to the threshold of the temple. As the man entered, the cloud filled the inner court, and the glory of the LORD rose from over the cherubim to the threshold of the temple; the temple was filled with the cloud, and all the court was bright with the glory of the LORD. The noise of the wings of the cherubim could be heard as far as the outer court; it was like the voice of God the Almighty when he speaks. When he had commanded the man dressed in linen to take fire from within the wheelwork, among the cherubim, the man entered and stood by one of the wheels. Thereupon its cherub stretched out his hand toward the fire that was among the cherubim. He took up some of it and put it in the hands of the one dressed in linen, who took it and came out. (Something like human hands could be seen under the wings of the cherubim.) Then the glory of the LORD left the threshold of the temple and rested upon the cherubim. These lifted their wings, and I saw them rise from the earth, the wheels rising along with them. They stood at the entrance of the eastern gate of the LORD’S house, and the glory of the God of Israel was up above them. Then the cherubim lifted their wings, and the wheels went along with them, while up above them was the glory of the God of Israel. And the glory of the LORD rose from the city and took a stand on the mountain which is to the east of the city.

Ezekiel Chapter 11

Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the temple. At the entrance of the gate I saw twenty-five men, among whom were Jaazaniah, son of Azzur, and Pelatiah, son of Benaiah, princes of the people. The LORD said to me: Son of man, these are the men who are planning evil and giving wicked counsel in this city. “Shall we not,” they say, “be building houses soon? The city is the kettle, and we are the meat.” Therefore prophesy against them, son of man, prophesy! Then the spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and he told me to say: Thus says the LORD: This is the way you talk, house of Israel, and what you are plotting I well know. You have slain many in this city and have filled its streets with your slain. Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Your slain whom you have placed within it, they are the meat, and the city is the kettle; but you I will take out of it.

NAB2 MAT 23:12

Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You lock the kingdom of heaven before human beings. You do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow entrance to those trying to enter.

NAB2 MAT 21:33

“Hear another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a wine press in it, and built a tower. Then he leased it to tenants and went on a journey. When vintage time drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to obtain his produce. But the tenants seized the servants and one they beat, another they killed, and a third they stoned. Again he sent other servants, more numerous than the first ones, but they treated them in the same way. Finally, he sent his son to them, thinking, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the tenants saw the son, they said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and acquire his inheritance.’ They seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What will the owner of the vineyard do to those tenants when he comes?” They answered him, “He will put those wretched men to a wretched death and lease his vineyard to other tenants who will give him the produce at the proper times.” Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the scriptures:

‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes’?

Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruit. (The one who falls on this stone will be dashed to pieces; and it will crush anyone on whom it falls.)” When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they knew that he was speaking about them. And although they were attempting to arrest him, they feared the crowds, for they regarded him as a prophet.

EZE 11 Continued: You fear the sword, but the sword I will bring upon you, says the Lord GOD. I will bring you out of the city, and hand you over to foreigners, and inflict punishments upon you. By the sword you shall fall; at the boundaries of Israel I will judge you; thus you shall know that I am the LORD. The city shall not be a kettle for you, nor shall you be the meat within it. At the boundaries of Israel I will judge you, and you shall know that I am the LORD, by whose statutes you have not lived, and whose ordinances you have not kept; rather, you have acted according to the ordinances of the nations around you. While I was prophesying, Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died. I fell prone and cried out in a loud voice: “Alas, Lord GOD! will you utterly wipe out what remains of Israel?” Thus the word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, it is about your kinsmen, your fellow exiles, and the whole house of Israel that the inhabitants of Jerusalem say, “They are far away from the LORD; to us the land of Israel has been given as our possession.” Therefore say: Thus says the Lord GOD: Though I have removed them far among the nations and scattered them over foreign countries—and was for a while their only sanctuary in the countries to which they had gone—I will gather you from the nations and assemble you from the countries over which you have been scattered, and I will restore to you the land of Israel. They shall return to it and remove from it all its detestable abominations. I will give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them; I will remove the stony heart from their bodies, and replace it with a natural heart, so that they will live according to my statutes, and observe and carry out my ordinances; thus they shall be my people and I will be their God. But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their detestable abominations, I will bring down their conduct upon their heads, says the Lord GOD.

NAB2 JER 15:19

Thus the LORD answered me: If you repent, so that I restore you, in my presence you shall stand; If you bring forth the precious without the vile, you shall be my mouthpiece. Then it shall be they who turn to you, and you shall not turn to them; And I will make you toward this people a solid wall of brass. Though they fight against you, they shall not prevail, For I am with you, to deliver and rescue you, says the LORD. I will free you from the hand of the wicked, and rescue you from the grasp of the violent.

NAB2 ISA 1:24

Now, therefore, says the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Ah! I will take vengeance on my foes and fully repay my enemies! I will turn my hand against you, and refine your dross in the furnace, removing all your alloy. I will restore your judges as at first, and your counselors as in the beginning; After that you shall be called city of justice, faithful city. Zion shall be redeemed by judgment, and her repentant ones by justice.
Upon Armageddon, when the seventh trumpet blows, Jesus is enthroned as Ruler over the whole world. This is when Christ's Kingdom, which is Zion, is born. As Jesus is given authority to rule on earth, so has He bestowed His authority upon His Apostolic Successors to rule Zion and the world. When the seveth trumpet of Armageddon blows, Jesus will rule the world through His Apostolic Successors, who are His Church, who are the Catholic Church.

NAB2 PSA 110:1

A psalm of David. The LORD says to you, my lord: “Take your throne at my righthand, while I make your enemies your footstool.” The scepter of your sovereign might the LORD will extend from Zion. The LORD says: “Rule over your enemies! Yours is princely power from the day of your birth. In holy splendor before the daystar, like the dew I begot you.” The LORD has sworn and will not waver: “Like Melchizedek you are a priest forever.” At your right hand is the Lord, who crushes kings on the day of wrath, Who, robed in splendor, judges nations, crushes heads across the wide earth, Who drinks from the brook by the wayside and thus holds high the head.

NAB2 ISA 14:1

When the LORD has pity on Jacob and again chooses Israel and settles them on their own soil, the aliens will join them and be counted with the house of Jacob. The house of Israel will take them and bring them along to its place, and possess them as male and female slaves on the Lord’s soil, making captives of its captors and ruling over its oppressors. On the day the LORD relieves you of sorrow and unrest and the hard service in which you have been enslaved, you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has reached his end! how the turmoil is stilled! The LORD has broken the rod of the wicked, the staff of the tyrants That struck the peoples in wrath relentless blows; That beat down the nations in anger, with oppression unchecked. The whole earth rests peacefully, song breaks forth; The very cypresses rejoice over you, and the cedars of Lebanon:

NAB LUK 22:25

He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them and those in authority over them are addressed as ‘Benefactors’; but among you it shall not be so. Rather, let the greatest among you be as the youngest, and the leader as the servant. For who is greater: the one seated at table or the one who serves? Is it not the one seated at table? I am among you as the one who serves. It is you who have stood by me in my trials; and I confer a kingdom on you, just as my Father has conferred one on me, that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

NAB2 PSA 47:2

All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries. For the LORD, the Most High, inspires awe, the great king overall the earth, Who made people subject to us, brought nations under our feet, Who chose a land for our heritage, the glory of Jacob, the beloved. Selah

God mounts the throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts. Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.

God is king over all the earth; sing hymns of praise. God rules over the nations; God sits upon his holy throne. The princes of the peoples assemble with the people of the God of Abraham. For the rulers of the earth belong to God, who is enthroned on high.

NAB2 REV 5:6

Then I saw standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and the elders, a Lamb that seemed to have been slain. He had seven horns and seven eyes; these are the (seven) spirits of God sent out into the whole world. He came and received the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat on the throne. When he took it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of the elders held a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones. They sang a new hymn: “Worthy are you to receive the scroll and to break open its seals, for you were slain and with your blood you purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue, people and nation. You made them a kingdom and priests for our God, and they will reign on earth.”

NAB2 REV 4:1

After this I had a vision of an open door to heaven, and I heard the trumpetlike voice that had spoken to me before, saying, “Come up here and I will show you what must happen afterwards.” At once I was caught up in spirit. A throne was there in heaven, and on the throne sat one whose appearance sparkled like jasper and carnelian. Around the throne was a halo as brilliant as an emerald. Surrounding the throne I saw twenty-four other thrones on which twenty-four elders sat, dressed in white garments and with gold crowns on their heads. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. Seven flaming torches burned in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. In front of the throne was something that resembled a sea of glass like crystal. In the center and around the throne, there were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back.

NAB2 REV 15:1

Then I saw in heaven another sign, great and awe-inspiring: seven angels with the seven last plagues, for through them God’s fury is accomplished. Then I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire. On the sea of glass were standing those who had won the victory over the beast and its image and the number that signified its name.
A brief interjection. In Luke 10:16, Luke places the fall of Satan with the Jesus’ dispatch of the seventy two. By doing this, this makes the verse most likely apocalyptic prophecy rather than an actual second dispatch of Apostles in Jesus day. Luke 10:16 is probably prophecy comparing Christ dispatching the Twelve Apostles in His day, with His dispatch of Apocalypse Angels, who are Apostolic Successors, upon Messianic Reign in the Apocalypse. Some bibles quote 'seventy' Disciples, and not 'seventy-two' Disciples, are dispatched by Jesus. 'Seventy' would more clearly related to the 'seven spirits', 'seven angels', 'seven lamp stands', 'seven' facets on the stone, 'seven torches’ sent out by Jesus to the Bishops of His Church in the era of the apocalypse. The birth of Messianic Reign will mirror the birth of Christ's Church.

Under Messianic Reign, Jesus will rule the world. It is upon the blast of the seventh trumpet of Armageddon that Messianic Reign begins. It is from the twenty-four elders around God's throne that the seven spirits are sent out to Christ's Bishops on earth. The twenty-four elders are the combination of the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve Apostles. When the seventh trumpet of Armageddon blows, Jesus will rule the world and 'seven' spirits at God's throne will carry the authority and power of both the Jewish nation and the Catholic Church to the Bishops of the Catholic Church. The New Jerusalem, initiated at Armageddon, will be ruled by Jesus through His Church. From Armageddon forward, Jesus' Church will carry the authority of both the Israelite nation and the Catholic Church. Oh! And the world!

Now that the whole world knows of Christianity, which was a pre-requisite to the restoration of Israel, Jesus is going to shift His Church into high gear. Upon Messianic Reign, Christ's Church will dominate the world. The formation of Zion, when the seventh trumpet of Armageddon blows, will be a rebirth for Christ's Church. Jesus sends the 'seven' spirits out to His Bishops, now Angels. It is those Bishops/Angels who won victory for Him and through Him, over the 'beast', at Armageddon, that Jesus sends His 'seven' spirits to. Jesus dispatching the 'seventy', and bestowing them with tremendous power from the Holy Spirit, will mirror Jesus dispatching the Twelve Apostles in His day. We can only imagine that there will be great miracles happening, at the hand of Christ's Angels, and all His Priests, to draw the world to Jesus.

NAB LUK 10:16

The seventy (-two) returned rejoicing, and said, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name.” Jesus said, “I have observed Satan fall like lightning from the sky. Behold, I have given you the power ‘to tread upon serpents’ and scorpions and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you.

NAB REV 12:5

Michael and his angels battled against the dragon.

NAB2 MAL 2:1

And now, O priests, this commandment is for you: If you do not listen, And if you do not lay it to heart, to give glory to my name, says the LORD of hosts, I will send a curse upon you and of your blessing I will make a curse. Yes, I have already cursed it, because you do not lay it to heart. Lo, I will deprive you of the shoulder and I will strew dung in your faces, The dung of your feasts, and you will be carried off with it. Then you will know that I sent you this commandment because I have a covenant with Levi, says the LORD of hosts. My covenant with him was one of life and peace; fear I put in him, and he feared me, and stood in awe of my name. True doctrine was in his mouth, and no dishonesty was found upon his lips; He walked with me in integrity and in uprightness, and turned many away from evil. For the lips of the priest are to keep knowledge, and instruction is to be sought from his mouth, because he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. But you have turned aside from the way, and have caused many to falter by your instruction; You have made void the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts.

NAB2 ISA 22:20

On that day I will summon my servant Eliakim, son of Hilkiah; I will clothe him with your robe, and gird him with your sash, and give over to him your authority. He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. I will place the key of the House of David on his shoulder; when he opens, no one shall shut, when he shuts, no one shall open. I will fix him like a peg in a sure spot, to be a place of honor for his family; On him shall hang all the glory of his family: descendants and offspring, all the little dishes, from bowls to jugs. On that day, says the LORD of hosts, the peg fixed in a sure spot shall give way, break off and fall, and the weight that hung on it shall be done away with; for the LORD has spoken.

NAB MAT 16:13 Peter the Rock.

When Jesus came to the neighborhood of Ceasarea Philippi, he asked his disciples this question: "Who do people say that the Son of Man is? They replied, "Some say John the Baptizer, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." "And you," he said to them, "who do you say that I am?" "You are the Messiah," Simon Peter answered, "the Son of the living God!" Jesus replied, "Blest are you, Simon son of John! No mere man has revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. I for my part declare to you, you are 'Rock', and on this rock I will build my church, and the jaws of death shall not prevail against it. I will entrust to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you declare bound on earth shall be bound in heaven; whatever you declare loosed on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Then He strictly ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

NAB2 ISA 33:20

Look to Zion, the city of our festivals; let your eyes see Jerusalem as a quiet abode, a tent not to be struck, Whose pegs will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes severed. Indeed the LORD will be there with us, majestic; yes, the LORD our judge, the LORD our lawgiver, the LORD our king, he it is who will save us.

NAB2 ZEC 3:4

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, while Satan stood at his right hand to accuse him. And the angel of the LORD said to Satan, “May the LORD rebuke you, Satan; may the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this man a brand snatched from the fire?” Now Joshua was standing before the angel, clad in filthy garments. He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy garments, and clothe him in festal garments.” He also said, “Put a clean miter on his head.” And they put a clean miter on his head and clothed him with the garments. Then the angel of the LORD, standing, said, “See, I have taken away your guilt.” The angel of the LORD then gave Joshua this assurance: “Thus says the LORD of hosts: If you walk in my ways and heed my charge, you shall judge my house and keep my courts, and I will give you access among these standing here. Listen, O Joshua, high priest! You and your associates who sit before you are men of good omen. Yes, I will bring my servant the Shoot. Look at the stone that I have placed before Joshua, one stone with seven facets. I will engrave its inscription, says the LORD of hosts, and I will take away the guilt of the land in one day. On that day, says the LORD of hosts, you will invite one another under your vines and fig trees.”
REV 15 Continued:
They were holding God’s harps, and they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: “Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God almighty. Just and true are your ways, O king of the nations. Who will not fear you, Lord, or glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” After this I had another vision. The temple that is the heavenly tent of testimony opened, and the seven angels with the seven plagues came out of the temple. They were dressed in clean white linen, with a gold sash around their chests. One of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven gold bowls filled with the fury of God, who lives forever and ever. Then the temple became so filled with the smoke from God’s glory and might that no one could enter it until the seven plagues of the seven angels had been accomplished. I heard a loud voice speaking from the temple to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of God’s fury upon the earth.”

NAB2 REV 1:20

This is the secret meaning of the seven stars you saw in my right hand, and of the seven gold lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Chapter 2

To the angel of the church in Ephesus, write this: ”‘The one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks in the midst of the seven gold lampstands...

NAB2 REV 3:6

"Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write this: "‘The holy one, the true, who holds the key of David, who opens and no one shall close, who closes and no one shall open, says this:”

“I know your works (behold, I have left an open door before you, which no one can close). You have limited strength, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Behold, I will make those of the assembly of Satan who claim to be Jews and are not, but are lying, behold I will make them come and fall prostrate at your feet, and they will realize that I love you. Because you have kept my message of endurance, I will keep you safe in the time of trial that is going to come to the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming quickly. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may take your crown.”

“The victor I will make into a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never leave it again. On him I will inscribe the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, as well as my new name.

NAB3 REV 3:21

I will give the victor the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself first won the victory and sit with my Father on his throne.

NAB3 REV 21:9 The New Jerusalem.

One of the seven angels who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come here. I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." He took me in spirit to “a great, high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God. It gleamed with the splendor of God. Its radiance was like that of a precious stone, like jasper, clear as crystal. “It had a massive, high wall, with twelve gates where twelve angels were stationed and on which names were inscribed, (the names) of the twelve tribes of the Israelites. There were three gates facing east, three north, three south, and three west. The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The one who spoke to me held a gold measuring rod to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. The city was square, its length the same as (also) its width. He measured the city with the rod and found it fifteen hundred miles in length and width and height. He also measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits according to the standard unit of measurement the angel used. The wall was constructed of jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. The foundations of the city wall were decorated with every precious stone; the first course of stones was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh hyacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made from a single pearl; and the street of the city was of pure gold, transparent as glass. “I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God almighty and the Lamb.

The “city had no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gave it light, and its lamp was the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and to it the kings of the earth will bring their treasure. During the day its gates will never be shut, and there will be no night there. The treasure and wealth of the nations will be brought there, but “nothing unclean will enter it, nor any (one) who does abominable things or tells lies. Only those will enter whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

NAB3 ZEC 8:1

This word of the LORD of hosts came: Thus says the LORD of hosts: I am intensely jealous for Zion, stirred to jealous wrath for her. Thus says the LORD: I will return to Zion, and I will dwell within Jerusalem; Jerusalem shall be called the faithful city, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts, the holy mountain. Thus says the LORD of hosts: Old men and old women, each with staff in hand because of old age, shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem. The city shall be filled with boys and girls playing in her streets. Thus says the LORD of hosts: Even if this should seem impossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people, shall it in those days be impossible in my eyes also, says the LORD of hosts? Thus says the LORD of hosts: Lo, I will rescue my people from the land of the rising sun, and from the land of the setting sun. I will bring them back to dwell within Jerusalem. They shall be my people, and I will be their God, with faithfulness and justice. Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Let your hands be strong, you who in these days hear these words spoken by the prophets on the day when the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid for the building of the temple. For before those days there were no wages for men, or hire for beasts; those who came and went had no security from the enemy, for I set every man against his neighbor. “But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as in former days, says the LORD of hosts, for it is the seedtime of peace: the vine shall yield its fruit, the land shall bear its crops, and the heavens shall give their dew; all these things I will have the remnant of the people possess. Just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you that you may be a blessing; do not fear, but let your hands be strong. Thus says the LORD of hosts: As I determined to harm you when your fathers provoked me to wrath, says the LORD of hosts, and I did not relent, so again in these days I have determined to favor Jerusalem and the house of Judah; do not fear! These then are the things you should do: Speak the truth to one another; let there be honesty and peace in the judgments at your gates, and let none of you plot evil against another in his heart, nor love a false oath. For all these things I hate, says the LORD. This word of the LORD of hosts came to me:

NAB ISA 12:1

On that day, you will say: I give you thanks, O LORD; though you have been angry with me, your anger has abated, and you have consoled me. God indeed is my savior; I am confident and unafraid. My strength and my courage is the LORD, and he has been my savior. With joy you will draw water at the fountain of salvation, and say on that day: Give thanks to the LORD, acclaim his name; among the nations make known his deeds, proclaim how exalted is his name. Sing praise to the LORD for his glorious achievement; let this be known throughout all the earth. Shout with exultation, O city of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel!

REV 20:4 Thousand Year Reign.

Then I saw some thrones. Those who were sitting on them were empowered to pass judgement. I also saw the spirits of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and the word of God, those who had never worshiped the beast or its image nor accepted its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life again and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The others who were dead did not come to life till the thousand years were over. This is the first resurrection; happy and holy are they who share in the first resurrection! The second death will have no claim on them; they shall serve God and Christ as priests, and shall reign with him for a thousand years.

NAB2 DAN 7:27

Then the kingship and dominion and majesty of all the kingdoms under the heavens shall be given to the holy people of the Most High, Whose kingdom shall be everlasting: all dominions shall serve and obey him.”

NAB2 LUK 1:46

And Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior. For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name. His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him. He has shown might with his arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart. He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly. The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty. He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy, according to his promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”

NAB2 ISA 2:1

This is what Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. In days to come, The mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established as the highest mountain and raised above the hills. All nations shall stream toward it; many peoples shall come and say: “Come, let us climb the LORD’S mountain, to the house of the God of Jacob, That he may instruct us in his ways, and we may walk in his paths.” For from Zion shall go forth instruction, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and impose terms on many peoples.

NAB MAT 18:15 Fraternal Correction.

"If your brother should commit some wrong against you, go and point out his fault, but keep it between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. If he does not listen, summon another, so that every case may stand on the word of two or three witnesses. If he ignores them, refer it to the church . If he ignores even the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector. I assure you, whatever you declare bound on earth shall be held bound in heaven, and whatever you declare loosed on earth shall be held loosed in heaven."

NAB2 DEU 1:10

The LORD, your God, has so multiplied you that you are now as numerous as the stars in the sky. May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times over, and bless you as he promised! But how can I alone bear the crushing burden that you are, along with your bickering? Choose wise, intelligent and experienced men from each of your tribes, that I may appoint them as your leaders.’ You answered me, ‘We agree to do as you have proposed.’ So I took outstanding men of your tribes, wise and experienced, and made them your leaders as officials over thousands, over hundreds, over fifties and over tens, and other tribal officers. I charged your judges at that time, ‘Listen to complaints among your kinsmen, and administer true justice to both parties even if one of them is an alien. In rendering judgment, do not consider who a person is; give ear to the lowly and to the great alike, fearing no man, for judgment is God’s. Refer to me any case that is too hard for you and I will hear it.’

NAB2 MAR 11:9

Those preceding him as well as those following kept crying out: “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is to come! Hosanna in the highest!”

NAB2 MAT 6:9

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven.

NAB2 ISA 4:2

On that day, The branch of the LORD will be luster and glory, and the fruit of the earth will be honor and splendor for the survivors of Israel. He who remains in Zion and he that is left in Jerusalem Will be called holy: every one marked down for life in Jerusalem. When the Lord washes away the filth of the daughters of Zion, And purges Jerusalem’s blood from her midst with a blast of searing judgment, Then will the LORD create, over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her place of assembly, A smoking cloud by day and a light of flaming fire by night. For over all, his glory will be shelter and protection: shade from the parching heat of day, refuge and cover from storm and rain.

NAB2 ISA 9:1

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone. You have brought them abundant joy and great rejoicing, As they rejoice before you as at the harvest, as men make merry when dividing spoils. For the yoke that burdened them, the pole on their shoulder, And the rod of their taskmaster you have smashed, as on the day of Midian. For every boot that tramped in battle, every cloak rolled in blood, will be burned as fuel for flames. For a child is born to us, a son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace. His dominion is vast and forever peaceful, From David’s throne, and over his kingdom, which he confirms and sustains By judgment and justice, both now and forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this!

The Lord has sent word against Jacob, it falls upon Israel; And all the people know it, Ephraim and those who dwell in Samaria, those who say in arrogance and pride of heart, “Bricks have fallen, but we will build with cut stone; Sycamores are felled, but we will replace them with cedars.” But the LORD raises up their foes against them and stirs up their enemies to action: Aram on the east and the Philistines on the west devour Israel with open mouth. For all this, his wrath is not turned back, and his hand is still outstretched! The people do not turn to him who struck them, nor seek the LORD of hosts. So the LORD severs from Israel head and tail, palm branch and reed in one day. (The elder and the noble are the head, the prophet who teaches falsehood is the tail.) The leaders of this people mislead them and those to be led are engulfed. For this reason, the Lord does not spare their young men, and their orphans and widows he does not pity; They are wholly profaned and sinful, and every mouth gives vent to folly. For all this, his wrath is not turned back, his hand is still outstretched! For wickedness burns like fire, devouring brier and thorn; It kindles the forest thickets, which go up in columns of smoke. At the wrath of the LORD of hosts the land quakes, and the people are like fuel for fire; No man spares his brother, each devours the flesh of his neighbor. Though they hack on the right, they are hungry; though they eat on the left, they are not filled. Manasseh devours Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh; together they turn on Judah. For all this, his wrath is not turned back, his hand is still outstretched!

NAB REV 22:16

"It is I, Jesus, who have sent my angel to give you this testimony about the churches. I am the Root and Offspring of David, the Morning Star shining bright."

NAB2 PSA 9:1

I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will declare all your wondrous deeds. I will delight and rejoice in you; I will sing hymns to your name, Most High. For my enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you.

You upheld my right and my cause, seated on your throne, judging justly. You rebuked the nations, you destroyed the wicked; their name you blotted out for all time The enemies have been ruined forever; you destroyed their cities; their memory has perished.

The LORD rules forever, has set up a throne for judgment. It is God who governs the world with justice, who judges the peoples with fairness. The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, stronghold in times of trouble. Those who honor your name trust in you; you never forsake those who seek you, LORD.

Sing hymns to the LORD enthroned on Zion; proclaim God’s deeds among the nations! For the avenger of bloodshed remembers, does not forget the cry of the afflicted.

Have mercy on me, LORD; see how my foes afflict me! You alone can raise me from the gates of death. Then I will declare all your praises, sing joyously of your salvation in the gates of daughter Zion.

The nations fall into the pit they dig; in the snare they hide, their own foot is caught. The LORD is revealed in this divine rule: by the deeds they do the wicked are trapped. Higgaion. Selah

To Sheol the wicked will depart, all the nations that forget God. The needy will never be forgotten, nor will the hope of the afflicted ever fade. Arise, LORD, let no mortal prevail; let the nations be judged in your presence. Strike them with terror, LORD; show the nations they are mere mortals. Selah

NAB2 PSA 98:1

Sing a new song to the LORD, who has done marvelous deeds, Whose right hand and holy arm have won the victory. The LORD has made his victory known; has revealed his triumph for the nations to see, Has remembered faithful love toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.

Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth; break into song; sing praise. Sing praise to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and melodious song. With trumpets and the sound of the horn shout with joy to the King, the LORD.

Let the sea and what fills it resound, the world and those who dwell there. Let the rivers clap their hands, the mountains shout with them for joy, Before the LORD who comes, who comes to govern the earth, To govern the world with justice and the peoples with fairness.
