Jesus is not a pacifist

When I was seven years old, my cousin Johnny died in the United Nations Vietnam war. At his funeral I looked up at my mother and asked, "If an army-man kills someone, does he go to hell?" My mother assured me that soldiers dying for their country went to heaven. I was relieved. Still the question on killing in war was laid heavily upon my shoulders that day.

When I was sixteen, the question on Jesus will on when to kill in war, had grown into an enormous weight upon my shoulders. In my tremendous pain, I asked my priest about war and the draft. He made me out as some kind of a coward yet he spoke of war as only evil in his homilies. He told me that I had to serve my country. He told me that when I got back from war the Church would help me with all the evil I had done.

Embarrassed for asking the question, I ran out from the confessional and fell to my knees before my God. With tears in my eyes I looked up to my God and begged Him to help me. I prayed, "Heavenly Father, if it is Your Will, I will freely stand by idle, with my weapon at my side, while my own mother is raped beaten and her body torn to pieces. Or, Father, if it is Your Will, I will travel ten thousand miles and fight to my death to defend a stranger's mother from persecution. But please Father, I beg of You, what do You will me to do?

My God hath not abandoned me.

Even as a child I had a need to know what God willed me to do when the wicked threaten the lives of my family, friends and fellow human beings. Moses and King David are veterans. I went to Moses and King David, through scripture, to ask them about war. What I found was Jesus.

NAB LEV 19:17

"You shall not bear hatred for your brother in your heart. Though you may have to reprove your fellow man, do not incur sin because of him. Take no revenge and cherish no grudge against your fellow countrymen. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

Once I had recognized Jesus in Moses I soon came to recognize Moses in Jesus. Christ's Disciples came to the Last Supper armed with weapons. After celebrating the first Eucharist, Jesus then discusses the importance for the Apostles to bear arms to protect themselves.

NAB LUK 22:35

"And the man without a sword must sell his coat and buy one."

I was an adult before I realized that "take no revenge" and "love your neighbor as yourself" were originally given by Moses and only repeated by Jesus. Moses is a loving and forgiving man. Moses even prays to God to forgive the Pharaoh who's lineage has persecuted and enslaved the Israelites for centuries. Most of what Jesus taught is what God had handed down through Moses. Modern Christianity had deceived me. Because Moses kills to protect God's people, modern Christianity has wrongfully stripped him of his copyrights to the concepts of "love your neighbor as yourself", and, "take no revenge". Using deadly force, against those who harm the innocent, in order to protect the innocent, is not vengeance or hatred.

In my early twenties a Catholic scholar told me that the Church has a "Just War Theory". I was enthusiastic to learn more about Jesus from the man. I asked him, "In which wars did Jesus will us to kill?" The Catholic scholar quickly clarified, "Jesus is a pacifist!". He said, "The Catholic doctrine of 'Just War Theory' does not teach people the will of Jesus Christ on when to kill but instead teaches what Church leaders teach on killing". I asked him, "Why on earth would Church leaders have a teaching which they believed was in direct opposition to my Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ's teaching?" He did not have an answer for me.

From behind the protection of Swiss Guard snipers, Pope John Paul II stated, "Violence is never the answer!" As confusing as it sounded, I was anxious to hear his teaching on when and why he believed Swiss Guard snipers should kill to protect him or kill to protect Vatican possessions. Or, possibly, he might give us a grand confession of un-repented guilt. Unfortunately he quickly moved on to talking about America. I have yet to hear Popes tell us how they see their use of having the violence means of Swiss Guards to protect themselves.

I remember reading where a Christian pacifist community had a mass murderer come and start murdering their children at their elementary school. Then the police came and stopped the murderer. I asked, "How did the police know to come to the Christian pacifist community to stop the murderer? Everyone knows that police are going to use what ever violence is needed, including deadly force, to rescue the pacifist children." I was reprimanded, "What kind of evil monsters do you think we Christian pacifists are! Of course we pacifists are going to call the police to come and use even deadly force violence to protect ourselves!"

I now realize that the majority of this weight came from having so many pacifist preference priests, giving homilies. Rather than teaching young Catholics how to remain faithful, loving and obedient to Jesus when they kill to protect the innocent, the pacifist priests, bishops and Popes, had a desire to use their positions of authority in the Church and homilies to advance their own personal pacifist political preference. (Pacifist Popes, Bishops and Priests are perfectly fine with using killing to protect themselves) Even today you will not be able to find a book from the Church, teaching young people how to make the decision on Jesus' will on when they should kill to protect the innocent. Believe me, I have looked for one. So I wrote one. www.ApocalypseAngel.com

Jesus told the Apostles directly to 'turn the other cheek' in regard to when someone comes to do them harm. Some Catholics have said that Popes having armed Swiss Guard to use violence to protect themselves is a 'lesser of two evils' form of evil defiance to the will of Jesus Christ. Jesus certainly would have known, understood and taken into consideration the disastrous danger Popes and Vatican possessions would be in if He willed them to use no force to protect themselves. It would seem to me one should simply obey Jesus. Again, if there are any Popes, Cardinals or Bishops reading this please explain if there is any credibility to this 'lesser of two evils' concept.

NAB MAT 5:38

"You have heard the commandment, 'An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.' But what I say to you is: offer no resistance to injury. When a person strikes you on the right cheek, turn and offer him the other. If anyone wants to go to law over your shirt, hand him your coat as well. Should anyone press you into service for one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the man who begs from you. Do not turn your back on the borrower.
Some pacifists demand that we believe that Christ's command to 'turn the other cheek' is relating only to Caesar and his wars only. Jesus never reprimanded Caesar on war. God's authorized Church leaders would have immediately ran to the Roman authorities and had Him killed, had He done so. Jesus teaching on earth was directed directly at His individual follower's, the Pope and other Christians’, hearts. Caesars wars had little significant to Jesus. Jesus goal was to plant the seeds of love into His individual follower’s hearts in order to build a Kingdom of love for God on earth. Caesar's wars are insignificant to Jesus compared to the universal sized importance of free willed obedient love for God being produced in the hearts of His followers.

Moving Mountains

I remember the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II's life. Three days later the Pope went to the prison where the man was and forgave the man who tried to murder him. I asked a friend, "Why did the Pope not have the man over the Vatican, or take him out to a restaurant to forgive him?" My friend exclaimed, "The Pope forgave the man! The Pope didn't let the man out of prison!" Now that made sense to me. One can love and forgive their enemies in their heart and still use force, even deadly force, to protect themselves from their enemies. With his actions, Pope John Paul II truly does teach us Moses and Jesus' teaching on how love for enemies and protecting oneself, one's family and one's property, fit together. Pope John Paul II lived Leviticus 19:17.

Pope John Paul II never clearly taught us Jesus will on when he or Christians should kill or punish to protect ourselves. However, in studying Pope John Paul II's actions, we can see his great teaching on when it is Jesus will for us to kill or punish to protect ourselves. Christian Church teaching on Jesus will on using deadly force to protect ourselves, taught through the actions of Pope in having the violent means of Swiss Guard to protect themselves, is very similar to God's teaching through Moses. And Moses, like modern Popes, kills to protect the innocent. When one understands how Moses turns the other cheek, one can understand Jesus teaching on turning the other cheek.

Please visit Moses is second only to Jesus when it comes to turning the other cheek.

What Would Jesus Do? Let us suppose this scenario. A group of evil men stand before Mary, Jesus and His Disciples. The evil men are going to torture and murder Jesus' mother Mary to start a Holy war. Disciple John and the others stand before Jesus with their hands upon their swords and ask, "What do you will me to do Lord?" Would Jesus say, "Peace!, Brothers! Is my mother's life and dignity worth starting a 'holy war' over? Put your swords back in their sheaths! Stand by idle with Me as we "turn the other cheek" while My mother suffers these atrocities." Or, would Jesus say, "Draw your swords at once and protect my mother!; With your life!"

One Catholic told me that God the Father could never have allowed Jesus mother Mary to be put in harms way where Jesus, as free willed man, would have had to use deadly force to protect her. They believed that for Jesus to kill to protect His mother, "as He would have to choose to do", would have brought an end to mankind's salvation through His "sin". Though billions of other good men on earth have had to face this decision, God the Father could not have allowed Jesus to face this, damned if you do, damned if you don't, decision on how to protect ones family against the atrocities of the wicked, was this person's thought. Can any Pope or Bishop comment on this type of thinking? On judgment day, if Jesus were to tell one of our protectors, police or military, "You have the unrepentant sin of killing to protect the innocent, so I am going to damn you to hell for it. However, know that what you did is exactly what I would have done to protect my mother, if I were ever to have been allowed to be put into your situation."; this would be something to think about. What are the thoughts on this type of thinking from any Church leader? "What Would Jesus Do?" is a very powerful, thought provoking, phrase.

Jesus empowered the Apostles and their Successors with His own spiritually deadly sword. Jesus has the Power and Authority to bind and loost sin. A man held bound to his sin by Jesus dies in spiritual death. Jesus is described in scripture as having a sword coming out of His mouth. It is Christ's Power and Authority to bind a man to sin, thus causing the man spiritual death, which is the weapon of Christ's mouth. Jesus gives Apostolic Successors His sworn oath that He will not forgive anyone whom they call upon Him to bind to sin. Jesus cannot go back on His Word. Therefore anyone Apostolic Successors call upon Jesus to bind to their sin on earth, that person is struck down with Spiritual death. Why would Jesus hand over such a powerful weapon to Apostolic Successors? Because He loves His Church as much as He loves His mother. Jesus wants His Bride the Church protected on earth. Jesus has armed His Apostolic Successors with His own weapon, the deadliest weapon on earth or in heaven. Jesus has commanded His Apostolic Successors to wield His weapon to Protect His Bride, the Church whom He loves, on earth.

NAB JOH 20:22

Recieve the Holy Spirit. If you forgive men's sins, they are forgiven them; if you hold them bound, they are held bound.

It is Jesus great love for His people that He gives Apostolic Successors such a deadly force weapon to protect His people with. As Jesus would use deadly physical force or command His disciples to use deadly force to protect His mother on earth so does Jesus command His Disciples to use spiritually deadly force to protect His Bride the Church on earth. As any loving spouse would do, Jesus left His own powerful sword in the hands of His shepherds on earth and He commands His shepherds to use His sword to protect His Bride.

Anathema
The Sword of Christ's Mouth on Earth

Jesus has armed His Church with the sword of His mouth, the power to bind men to their sins, which is a spiritually deadly weapon. Jesus did this to empower His Church leaders to fight to protect His Church. If a portion of the body of people is leading the body of people into damnation, Jesus commands His Apostolic Successors to 'cut it off' and throw it into hell. Jesus loves His Flock. Jesus wills His flock to be protected. Jesus hands St. Peter and the Apostles His own sword, the power to bind men to sin, which is a spiritually deadly weapon. Jesus wills His Church leaders to use the spiritually deadly force of the sword of His mouth to guard, guide and protect His Flock on earth. Please visit 'Throwing Stones'. 'Throwing Stones' takes a look at Christ's instructions to Apostolic Successors on their use of the sword of His mouth to protect His Flock on earth.

Throwing Stones

It is the sword of Christ's mouth which defeats Satan in the future age of the Apocalypse. Angels and Apostolic Successors both bear Christ's authority to wield the great weapon of Christ's mouth. At the battle of Armageddon there will be war and there will be spiritual death. Please visit 'Combat Angel' and 'Anathema; The Sword of Christ's Mouth on Earth'. These chapters take a look at the weapon of Christ's mouth and who it is that may be wielding the big gun in combat, to love and protect Christ's Church, on earth, at Armageddon. Jesus is not a pacifist.

Due to the tremendous increase in sin on earth, it certainly appears that we could be close to the age of the apocalypse. Jesus strapped His weapon, the deadliest weapon on earth or in heaven, to Pope Benedict XVI's, and all Popes, side. For twenty five years Pope John Paul II hid the big gun, from our view to awkwardly make himself appear as a pacifist. It is highly likely that Church Anathema will be the weapon used to slay the dragon and hurl the beast, Satan, into hell at battle of Armageddon in the age of the Apocalypse. We should take the big gun, now strapped to Pope Benedict XVI's side, out and take a look at it. Let us wipe the dust off from it and prepare it for battle. Let us no longer hide the Sword of Christ's mouth, which Jesus presently has strapped to Pope Benedict's side. If Successors themselves are not going to fire the big gun at the Beast of the Apocalypse, let us have it ready for Christ's great combat archangel Michael when He gets here.

Combat Angel

To give you an idea of the magnitude of the superior fire power being deployed by King of kings, Jesus, through His soldiers, Michael and his angels, at our future Battle of Armageddon, one must understand the level of carnage at the battle. If one person on earth repents of his path to eternal destruction, and turns to a path of eternal life through Jesus, more life is gained than all the combined years of life cut short from all the physical wars in human history. One repentant soul, gaining eternal, spiritual life through Jesus, will, eventually, out live the combined years of physical lives cut short by war, since mankind came into existence. At our future battle at Armageddon, fighting under the command of our Lord and King Jesus Christ, Michael and his angels will enact auto-anathemas which will level much of the world's billions of people, with spiritual death. Scripture describes the battle of Armageddon as only a few poles standing where once a forest stood. The fire preceding Christ's enthronement as King and Ruler of the world, in PSA 110, is auto-anathemas at the Battle of Armageddon.

NAB3 REV 18:21

A mighty angel picked up a stone like a huge millstone and threw it into the sea and said: “With such force will Babylon the great city be thrown down, and will never be found again.

The Battle of Armageddon takes about an hour. Messianic Reign begins at the Battle of Armageddon. Within three days of the battle of Armageddon, Jesus promises to build His Church back up. A massive number of people will rise from spiritual death on the battlefield of Armageddon, to spiritual life, through repentance and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Still, the initial blast, at the battle of Armageddon, ordered by our Lord and King Jesus, and delivered through His Combat Angels of the Apocalypse, Michael and his angels, will cause infinitely more spiritual death carnage, than all the physical death carnage, from all the wars in human history, combined. Jesus is not a pacifist.

The Battle of Armageddon is where angels are made. Fighting under the Command of our Lord Jesus Christ, Archangel Michael engages the foe, Satan, at the Battle of Armageddon. Michael, and his angels, slay the dragon and pull Christ's Church, Israel and the world, back from the edge of the abyss. Church anathema, the sword of Christ's mouth, is the weapon of a Combat Angel. Jesus wields the sword of His mouth, at Armageddon, through His army of Combat Angels who are already on earth awaiting His command. Christ's Apostles, whom Jesus swore He will not forgive anyone whom they call upon Him to bind to sin, are Christ's Combat Angels at Armageddon.

NAB REV 1:16

A sharp, two-edged sword came out of his mouth, and his face shone like the sun at its brightest. When I caught sight of him I fell down at his feet as though dead, he touched me with his right hand and said: "There is nothing to fear. I am the First and the Last and the One who lives. Once I was dead but not I live-- forever and ever. I hold the keys of death and the nether world." "

NAB REV 19:11 The King of kings.

The heavens were opened, and as I looked on, a white horse appeared; its rider was called "The Faithful and True." Justice is his standard in passing judgment and in waging war. His eyes blazed like fire, and on his head were many diadems. Inscribed on his person was a name known to no one but himself. He wore a cloak that had been dipped in blood, and his name was the Word of God. The armies of heaven were behind him riding white horses and dressed in fine linen, pure and white. Out of his mouth came a sharp sword for striking down the nations. He will shepherd them with an iron rod; it is he who will tread out in the winepress the blazing wrath of God the Almighty. A name was written on the part of the cloak that covered his thigh: "King of kings and Lord of lords."...

...REV 19:19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, and the armies they had mustered to do battle with the One riding the horse, and with his army. The beast was captured along with the false prophet who preformed in its presence the prodigies that led men astray, making them accept the mark of the beast and worship its image. Both were hurled down alive into the fiery pool of burning sulphur. The rest were slain by the sword of the One who rode the horse and all the birds gorged themselves on the flesh of the slain.

NAB REV 14:12

Here is what sustains the holy ones who keep God’s commandments and their faith in Jesus.

I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” said the Spirit, “let them find rest from their labors, for their works accompany them.”

Then I looked and there was a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud one who looked like a son of man, with a gold crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Another angel came out of the temple, crying out in a loud voice to the one sitting on the cloud, “Use your sickle and reap the harvest, for the time to reap has come, because the earth’s harvest is fully ripe.” So the one who was sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven who also had a sharp sickle. Then another angel (came) from the altar, (who) was in charge of the fire, and cried out in a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Use your sharp sickle and cut the clusters from the earth’s vines, for its grapes are ripe.” So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and cut the earth’s vintage. He threw it into the great wine press of God’s fury. The wine press was trodden outside the city and blood poured out of the wine press to the height of a horse’s bridle for two hundred miles.

To be seen by the world as a pacifist is very worldly glorifying position to hold in the world. However, this dysfunctional worldly glorification to Christian pacifists comes at a huge price to Christ's Church. Imagine the Vatican without Swiss Guards or Roman Police to use force to protect it. The Vatican without guards using force to protect it would give us a clear image of the spiritual disaster Christ's Church, billions of Christians, is presently in without Christ's Disciples wielding the Sword of Christ's mouth to protect Her as Christ commanded. Those pacifists who abandon Christ's Church to the spiritual atrocities of the devil, for the sake of their own worldly glorification as a pacifist, are not the heroes of The Kingdom of God.

I have always wondered what Pope John Paul II's consultation with his Swiss Guard was, after he was shot in St. Peter's square. I am thinking he told them, "It would have been better if you had shot the attempted assassin, BEFORE he filled me full of bullet holes! Protect me! I could have forgiven the attempted assassin at his funeral in what ever country papal murderers come from. I could have given my 'violence is never the answer' speech at his martyrdom funeral celebration." I am thinking that the Swiss Guard Chief would have advised the Pope, "Had we shot your attempted assassin, one bullet to the head and one bullet to the heart, maybe you could just send a card to forgive the man at his funeral."

To the others who hold the line against the forces of Satan (man's evil pride) in the world, I give you my greatest thanks.

What would you or could you trade for the human gift of love from those who protected us from Hitler in WWII. US, British, Russian, Canadian, French Resistance and all other Allied troops who fought and those who gave their lives to stop the holocaust and atrocities of evil wicked Hitler is the greatest act of love for fellow man and love for God of the twentieth century. I thank God for the protection of United States troops, NATO Allied forces and UN troops and our leaders who commit them to the task.

Jesus is speaking

NAB JOH 15:13

"There is no greater love than this: to lay down ones life for one's friends."

To all veterans, troops, police officers and firefighters throughout the world who stand, stood or have fallen in the pursuit of justice and the protection of the innocent, I give you my greatest thanks. Your gifts of love for God and neighbor are greatly appreciated.

To anyone in anguish over the decision to take life in the pursuit of justice and protection of the innocent, "Throwing Stones" is my gift to you. Since the time I was seven I have sought out God's will on when to kill. Since the time I was sixteen I have spent tens of thousands of hours in deep prayer, contemplation and scriptural study on biblical kills and biblical love for God. In "Throwing Stones", I have studied all the biblical verses in which Jesus and the Father will us to use lethal force and eternal life lethal force to protect the innocent. In 'Combat Angel' I take a look at Christ's troops, Angelic and Apostolic, who will combat the forces of Satan in the future battle of Armageddon. As God would do, so are we to do in His image. Protect and defend God's people on earth.

Combat Angel

Throwing Stones

"I Love You, God" studies all the hundreds of biblical verses which teach love to find God's definition of love. Her mission is to search out, engage and destroy man-made, false-god definitions of "love". Then "I Love You, God" replants the seeds of true peace and true love for God.

I Love You, God

God bless United States troops and God bless NATO troops.

God bless the physical world peace peacemakers.

God bless Christ's Combat Angels of the Apocalypse, at the future Battle at Armageddon.
